Emotionally This is going to be the hardest room to take back to magnolia and white. I’d be surprised if anyone else could live in it! But for those of us that have lived here is been a great place. One of the conditions of living with me was you had to paint something on the wall. We had several painting parties. I’ve lived with a few artists and other people who said they couldn’t paint but still added to the walls. The room has been through several incarnations and there is paint upon paint. THe 3 d work is miliputt and cardboard. This will be the last room to be magnolia and whited.
It’s perhaps hard to imagine but the room once was a pretty normal dining room and there’s room for a fold out table and small settee. Another time we had some great window seats made of hand shaped perspex and some bespoke sci-fi seating. The remains of the chessboard on the ceiling were from an actual game being played when we first came home with a glue gun.
The room gets ample day light and originally would have been a pantry and kitchen with a range.
This room currently has a very GOOD high efficiency wood burner which I intent to take unless made a good offer to leave it here.
